SHADOWS OF PENUBMRA: Book Trailer and Graphic Novel Page

I’ve got a double whammy for you today. Not my usual Monday post, but I’ll be doing a guest post later this week over at Amanda Byrne’s blog where I’ll cover a post on magnetic writing (ooh, aah …).

Today I’ve got the official release of the book trailer for my debut novel, SHADOWS OF PENUMBRA, along with the first ever graphic novel version of the opening scene!

Book Trailer:

Be sure your volume’s not on max, or this might give you a bit of a jump! It’s scared me half to death a few times.

The opening scene in graphic novel format:

The first frame begins with the stars. You can pause the slideshow or wait for it to circle around. (And you can also read this scene in the novel here.)

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Both are a first time for me, so I’m open to opinions and suggestions. You can also read the full strip on DeviantART.

While I’d love to do a full graphic novel, with 300 pages, it’d be an impossible feat. Rather, I’ve decided to pick out one scene from each chapter and illustrate it. That’s the goal for now, at least. Enjoy!

Here are a few more links for where you can find the novel itself:

Ah – the trailer won’t work for me after 5 seconds. I’ll have to come back.
